Kingston Bagpuize with Southmoor Tennis Club.
Our club, which has two floodlit hardcourts together with a well-equipped clubhouse is situated in the centre of the village next to the Village Hall, Draycott Road (click here for map). It has a broad base of adult and junior players who play throughout the year.
Membership costs are reasonable and range from £86 for a family to £15 for juniors (details from Linda Hopgood).
Members wishing to play in the evening during the autumn and winter months may purchase lighting tokens (£1.50 each per half hour) from Linda or Keith Hopgood (01865 820909).

Coaching and Playing Opportunities.
For adults and juniors, group coaching sessions are run by our club coaches, Andy Aitken and Lee Peffers. We also have mixed club sessions for players of all abilities - these are held on Sunday mornings from 11.00 (10.30 during school holidays) to 13.00 throughout the year.

Both Ladies', Men's and Mixed teams are entered into leagues (Wilson Summer League and Thames Valley Winter League) and, in addition, a number of friendly matches with other clubs are arranged. The club also plays in the Hanney Winter Floodlight League against other local teams. Monthly visits (excluding July, August and December) to the White Horse Tennis Centre in Abingdon are also organised (last Friday of month).

Junior Tennis:
The club is very keen to promote the development of junior tennis. Group coaching sessions for all levels, including 'mini tennis' for beginners, are run by the club coaches during school term-time. Junior 'club nights' also take place every Tuesday from 6.30 – 7.30 pm under adult supervision.
